Čeština2 is an online tool for multilingual children who are still learning Czech, for their parents and teachers. The application is suitable for children 5 and over. Children can have fun practising the basics of Czech as a second language. The app is also suitable for children who can’t yet read and write.

It contains attractive pictures and current topics. It works on your smartphone, tablet or computer.

Creation of the new version of the Čeština2 application was supported by the Citi Foundation, the project was implemented by META, o.p.s. in collaboration with People in Need.

The original application was created with the financial support of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic, the European Fund for the Integration of third-country nationals and the Ministry of the Interior of the Czech Republic.

We help parents who have experienced migration and their children navigate their way around the Czech education system and integrate into society. We offer courses in Czech as a second language for both children and adults. We provide teachers and schools with counselling in the education of children with zero or insufficient knowledge of Czech. We offer seminars, methodological support and teaching materials and operate the informational website www.inkluzivniskola.cz. We propose and advocate for systemic changes that reflect the needs of schools and multilingual children.
